Manually editing 35mm slides with heat, marker, glass and wire… An exploration.
This year I HOPE TO have access to a 35mm slide projector. I HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT THIS PROJECT FOR A LONG TIME. BASICALLY I AM ADDING ELEMENTS, WIRE, NETTING, THREADS ETC ETC TO 35MM SLIDES. I THINK I CAN CREATE VERY UNIQUE PIECES WHICH WILL BE NEW TO THE EYES. Maybe transfer the slides to video. In my tests what I found interesting was the very fragile items, gossamer wings, hair and pieces of feather ETC moveD slightly, which was really interesting in an Otherworldly analog KINDA way.
